God called Maria peacefully on July 23, 2015 at the age of 79. She will be forever missed by her loving husband Francesco. Cherished by her dear children; Domenic (Yolanda), Carmelina. Proud grandmother of Mary De Rose (Marco Petrella). Diana, Angie (Sunny Lupo), Johnny and Victoria; Great grandmother to Matthew and Michael. She will be held dear in the hearts of her siblings Franco Novello and Lorenza Amodio, family, relatives, and many friends in Italy and Canada. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905 850-3332) on Saturday, July 25, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9pm and Sunday July 26, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church (150 St. Francis Ave., north of Rutherford Rd.) Entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens (on Albion Rd. at Hwy 27). If so desired, donations in memory of Maria may be made to the Princess Margaret Hospital.
