Marsico, Margherita “Saveria”
God called Margherita peacefully on April 15, 2015 at the age of 86. She will be reunited in Heaven with her loving husband Carmelo. She will be cherished by her children Franca (Saverio Venditti), Teresa-predeceased (Franco Ferrari), Susan (Robert Ruffolo). Proud grandmother of Rosie (Vince), Joe (Natalie), Frankie and Michael. Margherita will always be remembered by her siblings Michele (Ortenzia - pre deceased), Suor Crescenza "Teresina", Linda-pre deceased (Salvatore Corigliano-pre deceased), Saverio (Ornella), Antonio (Cecilia), Mario (Dragica), and Leonilda (Nicola Iannone), She is now reunited in Heaven with her mother Maria and father Giuseppe Torchia and her beloved aunt Teresina "mammareda". She will be held dear in the hearts of her nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905 850-3332) on Thursday April 16, from 7-9pm, Friday, April 17 from 2-4 and 6-9. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday April 18, 2015 at 8:30am at St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church (8500 Islington Ave., south of Langstaff Rd.). Entombment will follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens (on Albion Rd., at Hwy 27). If so desired donations in memory of Margherita may be made to the Palliative Care unit at Etobicoke General Hospital care of Dr. Maida, or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
