God called George peacefully on April 21, 2014 at the age of 62. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will be held at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd., south of Langstaff Rd., 905 850-3332) on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-9pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday April 24, 2014 at 9:30am at St. David Roman Catholic Church (2601 Major Mackenzie Dr., east of Jane St.). Entombment will follow at Beechwood Cemetery (Jane St., south of Hwy 7). If so desired donations in memory of George may be made to the Terry Fox Foundation.
